After oversleeping on a late-night bus, socially awkward Sadie finds herself stranded in the quiet town of Shelleybound Falls. A friendly diner owner offers food and directions, but her search for a way home leads her into a human trafficking operation where people are sold, enslaved and even eaten.
Sadie escapes the butcher’s block only to be sold to a disturbed man and his twisted game of “house” in which he behaves like a young child and forces her to play his late mother. Isolated and chained, Sadie must navigate his unpredictable behavior and find a way out.
Shelleybound Falls explores how predators exploit politeness, vulnerability, and the inclination to trust.
The film confronts the horrors of human trafficking and a culture that turns women’s suffering into something to buy, consume, or watch. Beyond the scares, it aims to spark conversations about exploitation, challenge the ways we overlook it, and encourage greater awareness and support for survivors.
